In rare cases, you may see a message indicating that the company we partner with to link your bank accounts can’t access some of your accounts, or that they didn’t find any of your accounts.
If none of your accounts can be found, there are two possible reasons:
1. You closed your account(s) with that institution but your login credentials for accessing their website are still valid. In this case, you will be allowed to link that institution but no accounts will show up.
2. If you know that reason 1) does not apply to you, then what you’re likely experiencing is that our account-linking partner doesn’t recognize accounts from that particular financial institution.
If some of your accounts can’t be found, this is because our linking partner only recognizes certain account types for that institution. So for example, if you have a checking account, savings account, and credit card with the same institution, you may find that you’re able to track transactions from your checking and savings accounts, but not your credit card.
