Unsubscribing from the link found at the bottom of each marketing email
- After clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email you received from NerdWallet, you’ll be directed to a page with a list of the different types of emails we send. Deselect which type(s) of emails you no longer wish to receive by clicking the box next to the corresponding category.
- Click the “Save Changes” button.
- Note that NerdWallet offers several types of emails you can opt into or out of. Be sure to unsubscribe from all types of emails you do not wish to receive.
- You may need to enable cookies and/or disable private browsing on iOS or MacOS for the unsubscribe link to function properly.
Unsubscribing from within your NerdWallet account on the Web
- Go to MY NERDWALLET > ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS
- There, you'll see a list of the different types of emails we send. Designate whether and how you'd like to receive each type by using the sliders to turn the channel on or off.
Unsubscribing from email from the NerdWallet App
- In the NerdWallet app, tap on the three lines (commonly known as a 'hamburger menu') in the top corner > SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS
There, you'll see a list of the different types of emails and push notifications NerdWallet sends. Designate which type(s) of emails and push notifications you no longer wish to receive by opening the relevant section and turning off the toggle under "Email" and/or "Push".
You should also know...
- If your NerdWallet account is still open, you will still receive transactional emails, which we are required to send to keep you informed of changes affecting you or your account. These do not have unsubscribe links because NerdWallet is required to notify you of the information contained in those emails. To stop these messages, you'll need to close your NerdWallet account. You can find instructions to do that here.
- Unsubscribing does not interfere with receiving Password Reset emails since Password Reset emails are transactional emails.
- Closing your NerdWallet account automatically removes you from all email lists including transactional emails. If you close your NerdWallet account, you will lose access to all associated benefits. Learn how to close your NerdWallet account here.
