You will need to make sure you've closed any Atomic account before proceeding to close your NerdWallet account. You can find instructions here, or navigate to your Atomic account in the NerdWallet app, tap on the hamburger menu, then MY PROFILE, then scroll down and tap CLOSE ACCOUNT.
To close your account from the NerdWallet app
Tap the hamburger icon in the upper left-hand corner.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down toward the bottom and tap Close My Account.
Tap Yes, Close.
To close your account from a web browser
If you need to set a password, start with our password reset page.
Log into your NerdWallet account here.
Go to the Settings section of your account or click on this link.
Scroll down toward the bottom of the page, where you'll see a red link that says, Close my account.
Click on "Close my account", then click Yes, close my account.
