Unfortunately, we're not able to close your Atomic account for you since it is a financial account.
The good news is, you should be able to close your account without the support of Atomic. Here's how:
Log into the NerdWallet app
Look for the hamburger menu icon in the top left hand corner (icon with several horizontal lines)
Click on "Atomic accounts"
Click on "Close Account"
Select the account(s) you'd like to close
Click on "Review and confirm"
Please note:
Any open or pending BUY trades will continue to execute as scheduled. Once the trades are executed and settled, a SELL order is placed to liquidate the holdings.
All recurring deposits are cancelled.
SELL orders are placed to liquidate remaining holdings on the next trading day, barring any outstanding items on the account.
A final withdrawal is initiated once the sell trades have fully settled.
The account remains in a soft-close status for the next 210 days to accommodate any future cash dividends or corporate actions.
Any additional funds received during this period will be automatically withdrawn to the same account used for the final withdrawal.
