The NerdUp by NerdWallet Credit Card Program is closed as of April 21, 2025. As part of the closure process, all secured deposit accounts (SDAs) and NerdUp card accounts were disabled on February 17, 2025.
Multiple notices regarding the program’s closure and timeline for accounts becoming disabled were shared with all NerdUp customers starting in December, 2024.
If any funds remained in your SDA, refunds were issued via check after any outstanding card account balances, fees, charges, or other amounts that may be due, were paid - a process coordinated by our banking partner.
