Connecting to your credit profile is a separate process from signing up for a NerdWallet account, so if you don’t see your credit score on the credit score page when you sign in, try following these steps.

Important Information
The credit score and report that NerdWallet members can access free through NerdWallet is based on connecting to an individual's Social Security Number.
Unfortunately, because our verification method with TransUnion is tied to an individual's Social Security Number, it's not possible for us to provide your credit score using an ITIN or other methods, at this time.
APO Addresses
As long as you have a Social Security number and enough credit history, you should be able to access your score through NerdWallet. However, if you have an APO or military address and it is not currently supported by TransUnion, please try entering your home address before you relocated to your current military base, to activate your TransUnion credit score.
If that doesn't work, TransUnion should be able to advise you: TransUnion 800-916-8800 https://www.transunion.com/
You should also know...
Viewing your credit score on NerdWallet won’t hurt your score, no matter how often you check it.
If you have connected to your score before with a NerdWallet account associated with a different email address, you won't be able to connect a second time unless that account is closed first. A message will appear that says "We already have this credit account on file." You can either close the blocking account or use that account instead.
You may be asked for additional identifying information if TransUnion has trouble finding your credit profile.
If you encounter an error messages or other problems with viewing your credit information, reach out to us at [email protected]. We’ll help you find a solution!
