    Hi Burma,

Thanks for reaching out to NerdWallet; I'm happy to offer some information about payment cards!

I suggest contacting PayPal or reading their web site, they may still have a payment process that works as you described.

While we aren't able to provide personalized financial advice, I've gathered some resources here that you may find helpful:

    Best Regards,

    Thanks Victor,

I looked at the links you provided but none of those cards are like the Paypal debit cards:

As to why my Paypal debit card stopped working, I've done the research and it's a really common issue for lots of Paypal users.  Some users, after trying lots of things, have been able to get it to work only to have it stop working with no explanation.  Contacting Paypal is no help - they are vague about what causes the the issue or have no solution.  When I called them yesterday they told me there is a system issue that causes it but had no eta on a fix.

Thanks for following up on this, Burma!

I would consider an issue like this from the perspective of what are the advantages and disadvantages of adding a third party to a transaction. For example, instead of paying for a $500 item with a credit card, what advantage or disadvantage is introduced if you pay with a third party card that draws from the same credit card account?

After identifying advantages and disadvantages, you may be able to find something which at least closely matches what you're looking for, if it isn't exactly what you're looking for.

    Have a pleasant weekend,

    Victor
