Thanks for posting your issue! In this case, since it's an account login situation and we'll need to keep these communications secure and private, please reach out directly to support@nerdwallet.com by email or from within the app in the app menu > SUPPORT option.
It sounds like you might have used Google auth or Sign in with Apple rather than a password to create your account, in which case the password reset won't work and you won't see a security question.
Whatever the situation is, our support agents can get it sorted out for you!
