Linking Apple Card
I hope this is under the correct category. How do I link my newly opened Apple card? I know I can view my payments and statements online via card.apple.com however when I try searching for it via the add Card options in the NerdWallet site and app, it's not listed. I thought maybe it would be via GS Bank (Goldman Sachs) but it needs account credentials from there so that doesn't work. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Issa! Thanks for that question. While we do support thousands of banks and credit cards, we don't support them all - just yet! I would suggest checking for the Apple Card over the coming months as we are always adding support for more.

Hi,
Is it supported today, 02 18, 2022?
I just got a new AAPL card (the bank behind it is Goldman Sachs).
I tried to link my Apple Card with the 2 Goldman Sachs banks that you have, but it does not work.
Can you input the new Apple Card (Goldman Sachs) for linking?
Thank you,
Cheers

Hi Toziaci. Unfortunately we don't have support for the Apple Card yet. We do have a way to manually add accounts, but it's very manual as you have to add your transactions in order to keep your balance updated. If you don't have a lot of activity, it's not so bad. If you would be interested in doing that, you may want to write to us at support@nerdwallet.com as that's really the route that questions like this should be going. We'll be happy to help you out!

Hi Kevin -
Thanks for posting to the NerdWallet Community Forum!
The Apple card is still not supported for linking, and is unlikely to be supported in the near future.
However, we have an option for users to manually add their accounts.
Once you've downloaded the latest version of the app and signed into your account, you'll want to:
1. Go to your "Net Worth" tab
2. Click the "+" on the top right corner
3. Select "Add something manually"
4. Choose "Account"
5. Fill out the information below
6. Select "Add"
On the web version of NerdWallet, you'll want to:
1. Hover over "MY NERDWALLET" on the top right corner and select "Net Worth"
2. Then select "+ Link something else" under the laptop icon
3. Choose "Add something manually"
4. Select "Account"
5. Fill out the information below
6. Select "Add"
And that's it! Since these accounts are manually added, you'll also want to manually add your transactions to keep your balance up to date for the most accurate tracking of your accounts' information.
Best regards,
Victor

Since March 2024, Apple has supported syncing Apple Card, Cash, and Savings transactions with third-party applications via the FinanceKit API. Many competing services, including YNAB, Monarch, and Copilot have adopted the feature. Does NerdWallet have plans to implement this feature? If so, is there an implementation timeline?
