Forgive Student Loans After Refinancing?
I refinanced my federal student loans to a credit union, cutting my interest rate in half. I'm just under 50k remaining and excited about the proposal under Biden's administration to forgive student loans under 50k. But I'm concerned I won't qualify if it's only for those who haven't refinanced and only owe money to the federal government. If that's true, I'd feel absolutely cheated...
Does anyone have any light to shed on this?

I am thinking you probably will not qualify.
The latest info is at: https://studentaid.gov/debt-relief-announcement/one-time-cancellation.
BUT you may qualify under one of the programs that forgive loans for other reasons (there are several):
