AMERFIED DOC PREP : Loan SCAM!!!

I am so mad at myself but I just want to let fellow borrowers know in regard to a company that I am not quite sure they are called but this name was attached to the documents sent about Loan forgiveness. My story is pretty much similar to related posts about Student loan scams. This company was offering me to pay 39 dollars for 120 months to consolidate my loans and the rest will be forgiven. The offer sounds good to be true but the person's son creditable and relatable.  The rep had my information but looking back I think when I confirm my email address and a request of the password was alert that should have been a red flag. The scary part of this all they had my information. The rep informed me if I pay the 799 upfront with a 100 deduction I can begin the process as soon as possible. The guy even had the nerve to excite me saying I was approved but after doing my research after  (...ugh)  I discovered it not that quick to be approved. I completed the part of giving this person my account number and e signing the information. I have taken the appropriate steps by contacting my bank and emailing this company to cancel and changing my password for my FSU account. I also contact FTC about this company. I am waiting to contact my loan provider about this matter and see what I can do regarding my information. But please avoid a letter in a mail or anyway about AMERFIED DOC PREP and any scam that sounds too good to be true.

  I am so sorry to hear this. Student loans are a big enough problem for us all without some scammer taking advantage of the vulnerability it causes.
