Hi I Have been a Avis preferred program member for over 7 years. However, I learned only a month ago that I have not been getting points for all my rentals... I had to sign up to get any points and only going forward.
Does anyone have any experience w/ Avis on going back the past 6 months or year to ask them to add these rental points onto my account? I know the know jerk answer from them will be 'sorry, you need to sign up'. I must have assumed it was like a frequent flyer program and points were the purpose of the program and you didn't have to sign up seperately.
Any advice is appreciated before I make the call.
