In rare cases, you may see a message indicating that the company we partner with to link your bank accounts can’t access some of your accounts, or that they didn’t find any of your accounts.
If none of your accounts can be found, there are two possible reasons:
1. Your account(s) with that institution are closed, but your login credentials for accessing their website are still valid. In this case, you will be allowed to link that institution, but no accounts will show up.
2. If you know that reason 1) does not apply to you, then what you’re likely experiencing is that our account-linking partner doesn’t recognize accounts from that particular financial institution.
If some of your accounts can’t be found, this is because our linking partner only recognizes certain account types for that institution.
For example, if you have a checking account, savings account, and credit card with the same institution, you may find that you’re able to track transactions from your checking and savings accounts, but not your credit card. This is expected with some financial institutions.
One other possibility is that you may be trying to link a second login for the same financial institution. This is not currently possible, and we don't anticipate making the option available for security reasons.
