The California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") is a privacy law for California residents that went into effect January 1, 2020. The law provides Californians certain rights regarding the use and sharing of their personal information including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt-out of sharing.
Most of NerdWallet's data collection, use, and sharing practices are governed by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and is therefore exempt from CCPA. However, if you are a California resident, CCPA may apply to certain of our services as they relate to business products featured on our site (e.g., business credit cards and small business loans).
To exercise your CCPA rights, please complete and return this CCPA Request Form. The completed form can be submitted either:
1. By email at support@nerdwallet.com, with the subject line "CCPA Request"; or
2. At our Help Center Request page. Click "Other questions or concerns" and attach the form with the description "CCPA Request".
