Earn rewards throughout the year for simple, smart actions like linking your credit score, paying bills, monitoring cash flow, and more. Rewards are earned in the form of points, where 100 points equals $1.

One-Time Actions

These actions can be redeemed once:

• Get your credit score: 300 points ($3.00)
• Link a financial account: 100-150 points ($1.00-$1.50)
• Download and log into the NerdWallet app: 300 points ($3.00)
• Set up bill tracking: 100 points ($1.00)
• Get financial health score: 300 points ($3.00)
• Set your financial priorities: 100 points ($1.00)
• Enable notifications: 50 points ($0.50)

Recurring Actions

These actions can be redeemed on a recurring basis:

• Categorize all your transactions within a month: 50 points ($0.50)/month
• Improve credit utilization: 100 points ($1.00)/level
• Boost your credit band: 100 points ($1.00)/level
• Review 50/30/20 budget: 25 points ($0.25)/month

$100 Credit Card Bonus

1. Find and open an eligible credit card using NerdWallet.
2. Join NerdWallet+ within 7 days of issuer approval if you’re not already a member. The membership fee is $49 per year and is automatically renewable.
3. Link your new credit card to NerdWallet+ from your dashboard to allow tracking and confirmation of your eligibility.
4. Pay at least the minimum balance of your first bill on time to earn 9000 points ($90).
5. Your rewards portal will show that you earned 10000 points, which can be redeemed for a $100 gift card.
6. You can earn this $100 credit card reward up to three times per year (up to $300 in reward points) if you find additional credit cards using NerdWallet.

Redeeming Points

Points can be redeemed by logging into your account on nerdwallet.com and navigating to the NerdWallet+ dashboard. Points are redeemable for a cash value via ACH, PayPal gift cards, or select merchant gift cards. There is a $25 or 2500 point minimum redemption requirement.

Membership Fee
