What’s the status of my application?
It typically takes 10 business days for a card to arrive. If you have not received your card after 10 business days you can request a reissue from the ‘Settings’ section within the app.
You can view the status of your application by logging into the app. For assistance, please send us an email at cardsupport@nerdwallet1.zendesk.com and our Nerds will be happy to help!
Why was my application denied?
You will receive an Adverse Action Notice via email with the reason for denial. The most common reason for a denied application is trouble confirming identity. NerdUp Support Agents can not provide any additional information beyond what is shown in the Adverse Action Notice.
If there is no credit credit check, why do you need to know my Social Security Number?
Although no credit check is required to qualify for a NerdUp by NerdWallet card, your social security number is needed as part of our automated identification verification process. Our system needs to confirm that all NerdUp applicants are who they say they are for security purposes This step is important to keep you safe!
