The process of removing or updating your MFA method or phone number is quick and easy. Essentially, you'll log in, remove the old method or number, then add a new one in its place. Read on for details.

1. First, log in to your NerdWallet account. For security purposes, you'll need to supply your current MFA method code to complete the login process.
2. Once you're logged in, click the My NerdWallet button in the upper right corner, then SETTINGS > SECURITY.
3. Upon clicking on the Security tab you will prompted to verify your identity via MFA. Verify your identity to proceed to the next step.
4. Once you have verified your identity, navigate to the Authenticators at the bottom of the screen and click on the Remove link to remove your existing phone number.
   
   
   
5. After clicking remove, the Authenticators section will display the here link. Click on the here link to add your new phone number.
   
6. Select your preferred MFA method and follow the prompts to complete the process.
