We partner with a third-party company, Yodlee, to allow our members to link their bank accounts to their NerdWallet account. There are two reasons you may not see your bank among the financial institutions you can link to your NerdWallet account.
Your bank may not be included in Yodlee’s system yet
Yodlee’s database currently does not include every single financial institution in the United States. In particular, many small, regional banks and credit unions are not yet available.
If you don't see your bank listed in our database, scroll to the bottom of the list and you'll see a link that says, "Can't find your bank?" Click this link and you'll see a form where you can tell us the name of your bank and we'll look into adding it.
It may take some time, but Yodlee is working on adding more, so if you don’t see yours included today, try checking again later.
Your bank may be listed under a different name
You may also have trouble finding your bank if it’s listed in Yodlee’s database using a different spelling or abbreviation, so try searching for a few possible variations.
For example, “San Francisco Fire CU” will not show up if you search for “SF Fire CU,” or “San Francisco Fire Credit Union.”
It can also help to check whether the company is a subsidiary of a different financial institution. In that case, you may need to search for the parent company instead.

- It’s helpful for us to know which financial institutions our members would like to see added to Yodlee’s database. If you don’t see your bank listed, feel free to send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know, and we’ll escalate it to the right team.
- You can also request your bank from directly within the NerdWallet app. When you search for your bank in our database, you’ll see a section at the bottom of your results that says, “Can’t find your bank? Tell us the name of your bank and we’ll look into it.” Click the blue link that says, “Send us your bank,” to easily submit your request.
