NerdWallet employees are not able to update the information on your credit report directly, but you can dispute any inaccuracies with TransUnion, our credit score partner.
About your credit score on NerdWallet
When you log into your NerdWallet account, the credit score and report information you're seeing is provided by TransUnion. TransUnion is our credit score partner but NerdWallet cannot directly work with TransUnion on behalf of individual consumers to update your credit report. This means NerdWallet employees cannot correct your credit report information directly.
How to dispute inaccuracies
You can submit a claim on TransUnion’s website to dispute incorrect information on your credit report. Their Dispute Your Credit page is a great place to start.
If you’d like to speak with a TransUnion representative, you can find their contact information here.
