Typically, you'll need to close your account and open a new one.

If you have a NerdWallet Plus subscription or any Atomic accounts (Atomic Treasury /T-bills or Atomic Automated Investing), then you must reach out to customer support before changing your email address or you can lose access to your linked accounts.

To see if you can change your email address in the NerdWallet app:

• Open the app menu
• Tap Personal Info.

• If you see that your email address is greyed out or otherwise not editable, then it is not possible to change the email address associated with your NerdWallet account.

• If there is an edit option, then you can edit and then SAVE your new email address. Use caution if you have external account or a NerdWallet Plus subscription. Please reach out to support first.
