If you’d like to get your free TransUnion VantageScore 3.0 using your NerdWallet account, you’ll need to connect your NerdWallet account to your TransUnion credit profile. When you do this, you may run into a message saying you don’t have enough credit history to display a credit report.
This can happen if you’re new to building credit. In this case, TransUnion, our credit score partner, does not have enough information about your history with managing credit accounts to generate your credit score yet. It typically takes about six months to build a score from scratch, so it’s a good idea to wait until you’ve had a credit card or loan for that period of time before trying again to connect to your credit profile to your NerdWallet account.

In this case, you'll want to reach out to TransUnion to review the information they have for you in their system.
Credit bureaus occasionally have outdated personal information (i.e. employer, address, etc). This may cause confusion during the registration process, since TransUnion uses this information to verify your identity, so it's a good idea to contact TransUnion directly to make sure they have accurate information on file for you. Once you've done this, you can try connecting your credit score to your NerdWallet account again in 30 days.
