If you’d like to get your free TransUnion VantageScore 3.0 using your NerdWallet account, you’ll need to connect your NerdWallet account to your TransUnion credit profile. When you do this, you may run into a message saying you don’t have enough credit history to display a credit report.
This can happen if you you’re new to building credit. TransUnion, our credit score partner, does not have enough information about your history with managing credit accounts to generate your credit score yet. It typically takes about six months to build a score from scratch, so it’s a good idea to wait until you’ve had a credit card or loan for that period of time before trying again to connect to your credit profile to your NerdWallet account.
